Casino Kitchens

The world famous Tropicana hotel casino located on the Las Vegas strip in Paradise, Nevada has been a staple property since the 1950's. Penn National Gaming bought the 40 acre 1467 room hotel casino property several years ago and has recently begun major renovations to its interior and infrastructure. One such infrastructure project at the heart of the property completed by Las Vegas based Builders United, General Contractors, was the addition of a basement level support kitchen/ service facility to serve the banquet areas of the hotel. The design-assist project consisted of revitalizing a vacant spa space complete with new HVAC, plumbing services, power, cooler/ freezer storage and kitchen finishes. Builders United worked with local regulatory agencies to push through the 3 month project which was completed in late 2016 and is now in full utilization by the hotel.
